His Story:
Rev. Mack was baptized by his father and became a member of the Community Missionary Baptist Church in Hollywood, Florida. He served in the choir there until he joined the Usher Ministry in 1977.
On May 8th, 1983, Rev. Mack accepted his calling from the Lord into the Gospel Ministry. On May 31st, 1994, Rev. Mack was called to the pastorate of the Second Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Miami, Florida.
Rev. Mack is married to the lovely Sis. Sandra A. Spence. Together, they have six children and ten grandchildren.
Pastor Mack worked for Wal-Mart for nine years from 1998 to 2007.
Rev. Mack has been pastor of Second Canaan Missionary Baptist Church for the past thirty years. He and his membership are constantly striving, serving, and working for the Lord. As the Pastor himself puts it: "The Lord has blessed us both spiritually and financially and is continuing to elevate us to a higher level in his will."
Under Rev. Mack’s leadership, Second Canaan has been blessed to burn two mortgages. They are now “mortgage free”.
Rev. Mack is a graduate of Revelation Message Bible College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Ministry. In addition to this, he has a Master’s Degree in Christian Ministry from Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
Rev. Mack is currently a member of the following associations:
-Florida East Coast Minister’s and Deacon’s Union.
-Board Member of the Florida East Coast Baptist Association.
-President of the Florida General Baptist State Congress of Christian Education from 2016-2018.
-Teacher for the state and presently serving as President of the Florida East Coast District Congress of Christian Education.
Rev. Mack is also actively involved in the community. He is the former Chairman of "Liberty City Trust and Revitalization" and currently serving as president of the "Circle of Brotherhood", a community organization serving the people. Their motto being: “Black Men Solving There Own Community Problems.”
One of Rev. Mack's favorite Scriptures is: Proverbs 3: 5 – 6. “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”.
