Our Story
Second Canaan was organized in 1988 out of a committed love for God and his people, who have a strong faith and desire to draw other people to love and worship the lord. We are located in Miami, Florida, in the heart of Liberty City. We gather each week to worship, learn, and grow in Christ. Our church offers a personal, welcoming space where each member is valued, and the bonds of community are strong. Through dynamic preaching, soul-stirring gospel music, and uplifting praise, we seek to inspire and empower our congregation.
Mission
At Second Canaan MBC, we are dedicated to building a strong, supportive community rooted in fellowship, forgiveness, and humility. Our mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through impactful Sunday services, Bible study, and service to others. We strive to inspire spiritual growth, encourage healing, and provide a place of refuge for all who seek God's love and guidance.
Vision
Guided by the grace of God and the teachings of Jesus Christ, our vision is to cultivate a Christ-centered church where individuals from all walks of life can come together in unity, experience spiritual renewal, and serve the greater community.
